Welcome to 6th Grade Humanities, Focusing on Ancient Civilizations!

I am excited to be your tour guide as we travel through the incredible  ancient civilizations of our world.  On this journey, learners will  use the Five Areas of Interaction as IB lenses while gaining the skills and knowledge to use maps, graphs,and timelines. Students will explore the cultures, environments, physical features, histories, governments, and economics of the ancient world.  Learners will delve into essential questions like; "How does human need drive invention and innovation?"  Furthermore, learners will explore how ancient civilizations and their creations, discoveries, and choices influence us today.
One last note, parents please make sure that your child has a personal reading book with them at all times.
